Sign Language Week 5

Today Kathy's friend Wendy came to visit Room 4. Wendy is hearing impaired. We communicated with Wendy using sign language. Kathy, Wendy and Miss Thomas were really proud of us. It is lovely to have special guests visit our classroom so we can share our learning with them. 

Maths is Fun!

We can do maths on our own, with a buddy / group or with the teacher. We are learning to understand that maths should feel like a challenge. It is okay to make mistakes when we learn, that is proof that we are trying. Good mathematicians double check their answers and can explain their thinking. Room 4 students know all about fast and slow maths.
