New Zealand Sign Language Week

Celebrate, Communicate and Connect! We drew butterflies (Deaf Aotearoa's Symbol) and wrote messages to let people know we care and to share our learning. We really enjoy learning sign language with Cathy on Tuesdays. You can find out more information on their website. NZSL Week

ANZAC BISCUITS

We made ANZAC biscuits at school today and made extra to share with Room 3. We went out for a game and when we came back the class was transformed into a big trench! We ate our biscuits in the trench and listened to the Last Post being played. We love the sound of the bugle. A big thank you to our parent helpers today!!

Here is the recipe we followed. Yum!
